[ Why The GT3 RS ]
A Porsche GT3 RS rental in Las Vegas is a different request from a Lamborghini weekend. If you're searching for one, you probably already know why: it's a 911 developed for the racetrack, with an engine that has no turbochargers. Ours is a 2025 model, and it rents for $1,799 a day, $1,299 for 5 hours or $999 for 3.
From our specs: a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six making 520 horsepower, a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch, rear-wheel drive and 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. What the numbers don't show is the aerodynamics. The swan-neck rear wing and the vented front fenders are there to press the car into the road, and you notice it as soon as you're out of town.
On the Strip it's a loud, stiff car in slow traffic, and people will stare. Its better setting is open road: Kyle Canyon Road up to Mount Charleston, about 40 miles northwest, or the run out to Valley of Fire, about 55 miles northeast. Book at least 5 hours if you want to drive it rather than just park it for photos.

Yes. It's a road-registered production 911 that Porsche developed alongside its racing cars, so it drives on public roads like any other rental. It's firm and loud by road-car standards, which is a big part of the appeal.
It uses Porsche's 7-speed PDK dual-clutch; this generation of GT3 RS isn't offered with a manual. Leave it in automatic in town and use the paddles when the road opens up.
The RS is the more extreme version of the GT3: a little more power from the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter, much more downforce from the big rear wing and reshaped bodywork, and a focus on track performance over comfort. In Las Vegas we rent the RS.

It's livable, but it's firm, noisy on the freeway and holds two people with very little luggage. For a long day with bags, a grand tourer like the McLaren GT will be easier company.
